- Day01
Quito to Termas de Papallacta
Departing Quito, the road climbs into the eastern Andes, ascending to over 4,000 meters where glaciers and mountain peaks fill the horizon, before descending to Papallacta and one of Ecuador's finest thermal spa resorts. A circuit of pools at varying temperatures, each with its own hydrotherapy experience, delivers the kind of deep restoration that only natural thermal waters can provide. A spectacular first day that sets the tone for everything ahead.

Papallacta to Casa del Suizo
After breakfast, the journey continues eastward along one of Ecuador's most dramatic scenic routes, descending through lush green valleys and past glistening waterfalls into Ecuador's Amazon region. The road ends at the Napo River, where a 15-minute canoe crossing delivers the group to Casa del Suizo in time to watch the Amazon sunset from the pool, welcome cocktail in hand.

Days 3 & 4 — Amazon adventures at Casa del Suizo
Two full days in the heart of the jungle, guided by expert native naturalists and paced entirely to personal preference. Options include jungle trekking through the lodge's private primary forest reserve, building and paddling a traditional balsa-wood raft on the Napo River, and tubing downstream with nothing but the canopy overhead and the sounds of the Amazon all around. Every activity reveals a different, extraordinary face of this ancient ecosystem.

Return to Quito
After a final breakfast at the lodge, the journey climbs back over the Andes with a scenic viewpoint stop along the way, arriving in Quito at approximately 5:00pm — full of stories, photographs, and memories that will last a lifetime.
