Journeys that Inspire

From the living laboratory of the Galápagos to the gilded heart of Quito, the high Andes, and the depths of the Amazon, each destination is curated in detail and woven into a single, effortless itinerary. Choose a starting point below.

Galápagos

Darwin's Choice

Galápagos

0°40′S · 90°33′W

The Galápagos Islands do not play by the rules. Wildlife here has never learned to fear humans, which means every walk, every snorkel, and every quiet moment on shore delivers encounters of startling, almost surreal intimacy. Giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and the only penguins in the Northern Hemisphere share these ancient volcanic shores in landscapes that have barely changed since Charles Darwin arrived in 1835 and left with the idea that would forever reshape science.

Whether aboard an intimate expedition cruise or on a land-and-sea program, the islands deliver something no other destination can: the feeling that you are witnessing the world exactly as nature intended.

97%of the islands' landmass designated national park
1,200+marine species beneath the surface
2distinct seasons, both ideal for exploration

Quito

The Middle of the World

Quito

0°11′S · 78°30′W · 2,850 m

Few capital cities wear their history as gracefully as Quito. Perched at 2,850 meters and recognized by UNESCO as one of the world's first World Heritage cities, its historic center is magnificent: gilded baroque churches, cobblestone plazas, and colonial grandeur at every turn. Beyond the city limits lie cloud forests, volcanoes, and indigenous markets. And for corporate gatherings, Quito offers something truly rare: exclusive access to historic monasteries, colonial haciendas, and private museum spaces that transform any event into an experience.

Andean Highlands

Beyond the city limits

Andean Highlands

0°41′S · 78°26′W · Avenue of the Volcanoes

Step outside Quito and the surprises begin immediately. Two hours west, and you are lost in the Mindo Cloud Forest. Two hours south, Cotopaxi, one of the world's highest active volcanoes, fills the horizon. Two hours north, and the legendary indigenous markets of Otavalo and Cotacachi pull you in with color, craft, and centuries of living Andean tradition. The towns are extraordinary. What surrounds them is equally so.

And then there is the wildlife. The Andean condor, with a wingspan stretching up to three meters, commands the sky above the páramo in a display that stops conversation mid-sentence. The cloud forests of the Chocó Andino, just a short drive from the city, harbor over 400 recorded bird species and orchids of such startling complexity they border on the theatrical. Bring binoculars. You have been warned!

Amazon Rainforest

Lush, Wild, and Mysterious

Amazon Rainforest

0°55′S · 76°10′W · Napo basin

The Amazon announces itself before you even arrive. From the moment the canopy closes above you, the scale of life here is overwhelming: exotic fruits hanging heavy from ancient trees, river fish pulled fresh from the Napo at dawn, and a landscape so primordial it feels less like a destination and more like the beginning of the world itself.

Deeper into the foothills lies Sangay National Park, one of South America's great wild frontiers. Recognized by UNESCO in 1983, two active volcanoes anchor a landscape that shifts dramatically from tropical rainforest to glacial peaks. Further east, the Yasuní region harbors one of the most biodiverse corners of the planet, where indigenous communities have lived in deep harmony with the forest for centuries, and their knowledge of this extraordinary ecosystem runs as deep as the jungle itself.

10%of all plant and animal species on earth, estimated to live here
650tree species and 100,000 insect species in a single hectare of Yasuní
10indigenous nationalities: Kichwa, Shuar, Achuar, Shiwiar, Cofán, Siona, Secoya, Zápara, Andoa, and Waorani

Colombia & Peru

Culture, Food, History, and More Andes

Colombia & Peru

Bogotá · Medellín · Cusco

Where Ecuador's Andes end, the adventure continues. Colombia and Peru extend the journey into two of South America's most compelling destinations.

In Colombia, the coffee axis unfolds across emerald hills and colonial towns, Medellín captivates with energy and reinvention, and Cartagena's UNESCO-recognized historic center astonishes by day and dances by night.

Peru elevates the journey further still. Lima's centuries of cultural fusion have produced some of the most exciting food on the planet, making it a destination in its own right. Beyond the city, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu deliver what few destinations can: ancient, dramatically beautiful, and historically unrivaled. Exceptional luxury properties throughout ensure the journey is as comfortable as it is extraordinary.
